Getting There: Access is via Shepherds Road, Wheelers Hill. Park at the far east end (next to the tennis courts) and begin your walk from there.

Comments: Despite being such a short walk (and being so suburban), this was actually a really nice spot. I wouldn’t go out of my way to do it again but I’d do it if I was in the area. Shepherds bush is home to many birds and apparently there are also many frogs, reptiles, etc. (though we weren’t lucky enough to see any of these).
The Dandenong Creek Trail forms part of this circuit so this could be linked with other parks (such as Jells Park) if you wanted a longer walk. Though the Trail is quite busy, I only encountered one other person on the 10-15 minute section of the walk which winds through the conservation area.
